Sebagai sebahagian daripada usaha berterusan untuk meningkatkan tadbir urus, Majlis Bandaraya Kuantan (MBK) telah mewujudkan Dasar Perlindungan Pemberi Maklumat (Whistleblower) to make it easier for MBK residents and the public to report violations of the code of conduct or integrity such as fraud, corruption, serious financial irregularities and abuse of power by someone appointed in MBK more effectively.

Mana-mana individu yang mahu melaporkan salah laku rasuah dan pelanggaran integriti akan dilindungi oleh Dasar Perlindungan Permberi Maklumat (Whistleblowing). Below Under this procedure, reports can be made against any individual associated with MBK, if they are suspected of committing corruption misconduct and integrity violations. Any reported cases of misconduct or integrity violations will be investigated in accordance with relevant procedures and laws.
