Strata communities such as flats and apartments are one of the compositions that make up the community of Kuantan City residents. Just as the MBK ensures that the 'landed property' housing area is always clean, safe and free from disturbance, the residential area involving strata is also given attention in line with Kuantan as a city.
In this regard, the Council is now actively conducting inspections in residential and business strata areas to ensure that the building management (JMB and MC) take the necessary measures to ensure that strata residents in Kuantan live in a conducive and safe condition. The inspections carried out focused on aspects of cleanliness and nuisance as well as issues involving construction without approval (outside and inside the building) as well as licensing of business premises and advertisements.
During the inspections carried out to date, most of the compound actions and reprimands taken on most of the strata buildings include poorly clean environments and common areas, additional construction inside and outside the building, as well as unlicensed businesses. Therefore, the people of Kuantan, especially the residents, management and traders in strata buildings are asked to ensure compliance with the law in conducting business and building management so that it can provide benefits and well -being to all.
